Is it a 4x4? The dealer should go down. They might act like they can't go down but they can. If it was a trade in then they probably gave the trade in price for it. KBB trade in for a 4x4 is $1880. and $1600. for the 2x4. (2785-2385 retail) So that's a difference of $905. for the 4x4 and $785. for the 2x4. (Compared to the retail prices not the $2600.) Figure in enough where they'll make a few hundred but low enough where they can come back with a slightly higher offer. Considering that they are asking $2600. and it's in good shape. Offer them somewhere around $2000. and maybe pay $2200. for a 4x4. Watch out for add on cost like paper work fees or high transfer fees. You should really talk "out the door prices". Everything included. The only thing they can do is say "no". So don't feel bad trying to get them down on a price. Did you ask them for a price on it? Besides the sticker price. Or was that the $2600.?
Yep, she's a boxer. They are great dogs.

I would go to the NADA and KBB sites and print out the retail prices for the quad. (under motorcycles on the sites) You could offer them $2000. out the door and see if they blink. They might come back with another price. If they try to tell you the retail price is $2600. You'll have the retail price info printed out to show them. It really helps to do a little homework to save a little money.
The 2x4 300 should do well on the trails. The time you would need a 4x4 is in the heavy slushy snow. It also comes in handy for backing up steep hills. (2 wheel drives tend to spin.)
