I don't know who you're talking to that says the 450R is junk. Your friend doesn't know what he's talking about. Does he own a 450R? Has he ridden one?
Post facts about bikes, not "what I've heard".
I wouldn't trust this friend anymore, he just lied to you. If a 400 beats a 450r it's because of rider experience and nothing else. I haven't met a 400 yet I couldn't beat.

 

Well im pumped because the guy at the honda dealer is holding an 04 450r for me. I am just waiting to sell my scrambler and ill be set. I have it in the newspaper and have been getting a few calls but tonight im going to put it on ebay just to reassure it will be sold. Does any1 know of any other way to sell a pretty mint quad, because i can't let this deal fall through.... Thanks

 

Does anyone ever talk about anything but 'wide open top speed' on this thing. Throw in some 60' table tops, doubles and even triples with some hair pin turns and lets' see what pans out. Let alone reliability. How about the Baja 1000. I still don't think the Kawa/Zuki/YFZ/Predartor/Rappy have won one between them. But that ole' junk 400 EX has won more than all quads put together..

 

He said he was leading until 4th gear....if his jetting is way off it's gonna be off in 1st thru 3rd gears as well...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]. If this is the case I would think the other rider may be on crack or weigh 500lbs.

That was quick. I was "pasting" in the wrong thread. Responding to what someone was saying about those junk 450r's. Like mine....

None. I just wanted to show that post to the guy in another thread who was ripping the 450R for being "problematic". I've yet to have any problems.....

 

I work with a couple of guys that have 450r's and they have yet too have any troubles. Thats pretty funny for a YFZ owner making "problematic" comments about the 450r...LOL.
