I need information from Texas riders urgently
#1
Hi:
I am being transferred from Canada to the Dallas area for a few years with my job. I have a 2004 Rubicon and need to know what kind of riding is in the area? How far from Dallas. Basically I am trying to decide if I should sell the Ruby here and get a sport quad there. Any info from the Texas riders would be appreciated.

Muenster is just north of Dallas (about an hour) and has all kinds of riding. Lake Murray is about another 45 minutes north of that. Not as big as Muenster, but they have showers and sites with electricity. There are a lot a tracks east of Dallas too. Keep the Ruby and maybe later you can get a sport too.

Yes there is ALOT of mud in Tx and some of the best in the country at that but dont be fooled. Tx has some of the best and most diverse riding (sand dunes, mud, sport parks, and fun trailriding) especially within a hour or two drive from dallas.
Red River is ok but it is quite small however is does have one of the best spots that cater to the sport crowd. Bring those paddles. They also have a couple of miles of trails but its not huge. if you drive a couple hours east you can chose from 4 or 5 parks in the longview area such as mudcreek(jacksonville),Fun Wheeler Park, Gator run, rabbit creek and shiloh ridge.
