I will say that the steering may seem stiffer than others at first. I don't really notice it now though. As for the suspension, I routinely ride 40-50 miles and usually don't get too hammered. Sure, independent would be better, but not with all those moving parts.

High Grass is right to many moving parts.
and when you got stuck with the IRS you were stuck in know my cat was at least 60lbs heaver then my honda.
and with the IRS the back end was so high it took at least 2 or 3 people to lift you out of a rut or you were hooking the winch up to somthing.
with the honda the rear bumper sits about a foot lower the the cat so you can grab the bumper and lift it up easer.
but i find the even with less GC i dont get stuck as often as i did with the cat. (in the mud)
but i'll see if its better when the winter comes, because the cat was amazing in the snow.
GC rules in the winter time.
see my pics on my page and see what three beer cans of GC looks like.
and that was with 3 1/2 lbs of air in the tires.
with six there was 15 1/2" of GC.

We bought our Rubicon because of the transmission. Nothing campares to it or even comes close. Best engine braking in the industry. Two different automatic (D1 + D2) positions and a manually shifted 5-speed ESP (buttons) in high range and one automatic range (D2) and ESP in low range.

This has been a great ATV for us.
