Hello,I own a 99 Blaster with an FMF pipe and silencer, boyessen power reeds, pro design tether, paddles, aluminum wheels, and some other things and I was wondering if you suggest that I sell it and buy a 250r.The reason I want to do this is becausemy blaster is too slow and I dont have enough money to hop it up and go faster.I am only 14 years old and need your help. Thanks

go for it. My cousin had a 250r and it flew, it is a very quick bike. a blaster is a start off point but if you feel that you are advanced enough for something like that than go for it. My cousin rode the crap out of his.

Blasterman, I love the 250R & they are fast. You can probably buy a fairly good one for what you can sell your Blaster for, but don't expect to find one for less than $2500 that is in really good condition. There are probably as many or more after-market parts for the 250R than any other 4 wheeler, but they are still expensive. If you decide to go the 250R route, try to get someone who knows a lot about 250R's to look at it with you. Front A-arm bushings & ball joints are outrageous. You could put $300-$500 in just the brakes!

Another thing, the R's have been around for awhile & a lot of them have had engines & engine parts swapped around(even some of the 3 wheeler stuff will fit), so that you may have difficulty even ordering the correct replacement part. Not too many differences in the years, but some. Good Luck.

As fast as you want. Why does everybody need to know how fast something goes? If you put the right sprockets on, you could do 100, it might take you a mile to do it.
