They are both good quads. Why not just leave it at that? Everyone has their own preferences. Just answer the question that predatorr asked without all the trash talking. Trash talking is to be done face-to-face so you can finish it the right way! All predatorr asked about was the Rincon and the Sportsman 500. Not the 600 or the 700, or even the 800! So tell him about the 500! But to answer the ORIGINAL question, the rincon will beat the 500 in a drag.

Polaris has problems, as does HONDA, as does kawi's,..etc. The rincon will win in a drag race. A friend of mine has a rincon and the only reason he still has it is because he doesn't want to take such a loss on it for it is only 10 months old. He's had nothing but problems. My dad has a 98 sp 500 and a 99 335 they both have over 6000 miles on them. the 335 has nothing done to it, the 500 broke a flywheel key once and went through a couple of u joints (Normal unless you talk to a die hard honda guy who will tell you he drove his quad around the earth 28 times, never changed the oil and never replaced or wore out anything, right revboy?) Either quad is good but if your going to compare what quad is for you, why not look between the 700 efi, 800 efi, brute force looks cool, praire, rincon, etc... compare apples to apples

My rincon takes off faster than the AC. Not by much though. I like the AC better because of the locker, low range, reverse override and the feel of the machine. The Rincon just feels like it rides too soft for me. It rides smooth don't get me wrong, but it just feel to tippy in corners. I know when it is and when it isn't going to roll, but when my wife rides it, she says it just leans to much. Which I do see her point. The larger towing, rack and fuel capacity makes a big difference too. Not to mention more ground clearance and suspension travel. But to answer your question, I think the rincon is a good quad but has room for improvement. I love the AC!
