If it was me I would rather get the new machine ( you would know the history ) and the Rancher 4x2 is pretty sporty also.

Default foreman price???

Hi The year of the foreman is important try to make certain of the year. If the foreman is in good condition and does not have an absurd amount of miles on it I would go for it. Bring a friend along with you who knows their wheelers and get them to look it over for you . does it have a winch ? I have a foreman and a trail boss 330 2x4 . By not having 4x4 my trail boss is limited in the type of trails we ride. 2x4 will get you through 90% of the trails we ride. When we hit the other 10% of the trails it can be very frustrating pushing lifting and towing the 2x4's. I love my foreman. They are very dependable and rugged which makes them a very good choice when looking for a used wheeler...if it was treated well it will last you for many years.

I hope this was of some help

It's really hard to say if something is worth any amount without seeing the quad. You really need to find out the year and mileage. Look everything over to see if anything has been bent, broke or welded. Check the oil and figure out if the brakes have been taken care of. Once you know the condition, year and mileage. You can go to NADA or KBB to get a price.

It has to be a 2001 or older because of the 424. I'm assuming that it's a 450. Is it a 400 or 450 Foreman? If it is a 450, Honda put the select 4x4 system on the 2002 and newer models.

One concern about a new pipe. It may not have been jetted correctly if at all. It may need to be jetted because of the new pipe. So, it may not run correctly.
