High rev cam

I have a 200x with a 1982 200 motor in it. I want a cam to give me good high end power. The deal is that I don't want to have to change valve springs or stuff like that. I have a wiseco 10.5:1 piston in. I would like the cam to give me good horsepower in the top end and not have to do any modifying. Will spend up to 60 bucks

I agree, luckywilson; not for sixty bucks! WebCam can grind a cam moving the horsepower peak rpm, but $ 60? Fantasy Island Cams, Inc., maybe, but not in the real world.
Also, any extreme cam will require special valvetrain components capable of functioning at high rpms. The stock setup won't cut it; even if it survives, the valves will "float" at the top end, unable to follow the cam profile, losing power and defeating the purpose of a high-performance cam.
Ain't no free lunch. Pity!

I had a friend who put a hot cam in a stock engine, the vavles floated so bad both valves stayed open and the pistion smashed them so hard it blew a hole in the pistion. we found the valves in the pipe, the pistion was in 3 pieces (mostly in the tranny) and the head was a total loss (much to wrong to write in here)
All in all, dont do it
