im 14. but im about 5'10 or 5'11 and i weigh about 180-190. so im deffinently as big as most adults on quads now adays and i can handle the power i think of a 300 ex a and the manual clutch. i was just hoping i wouldnt get bored of it to soon. oh and upgrade wise, good or not? thanks

yes the 300ex is a good beginner quad...once u get the clutch down your all set..its got reverse..(you will need it )...and once u get to be a better rider you still wont out grow it..theres lots of aftermarket stuff so they are easy to modify...and its a HONDA...good luck

ya like me or my parents will be able to afford a z400. they havent been out that long so im not gonna be able to find a good cheap used one. if i could find a used one for like 3500-3800 that might be different though. anyone think i could find one for that price.

ya thats true but, im not a fan of no reverse. getting off my quad and pushing it out of trouble where some other quad could easily just kick it in reverse and get out of there doesnt appeal to me. so does anyone think i could a get a z400 for 3500 through 3500. oh im in the north east and i think prices here on quadas are a little bit cheaper then the south and the west if im not mistaken oh btw thanks for all the responds guys.

the z400 may work out pretty good and i say you can find a used 03 model for around $3500.
