Sometime in September Honda is having it's dealer meetings in Vegas - they are expected to announce a couple new models. The rumors I keep hearing are the new 400-500cc liquid cooled motocross bike and the TRX650EX(R?). I have heard the 11th mentioned, but that's not a definite. Perhaps there are some dealers here that can confirm the date?

If you guys notice that the K&N filter base fits very loosely inside the air boot ring.The boot will not seal properly no matter how tight you crank the clamp(boot gets distorted).Putting rim grease on only results in the filter popping out on jumps,definitely no good as some of you have found out.Wrap the end of filter with roll bar tape,any 4x4 shop will have it and it looks kind of like heavy duty electrical tape.The gap is decreased and the boot will bite into tape when clamp is tightened,fliter will not budge whatsoever.I have never had any dust get past it.Even when riding at Stoneyford during dry summer,dust is superfine silt.Filter was completely clogged(could scrape off dirt with finger)but nothing got past.Light layer of oil I put on inside of air boot was stil dust free.

Whoo hoo need to run down to my local honda shop and find out what up (www.desertmotorsports.com).. I am here in vegas and have a hommie that works there.. (need to show him my broken wrist anyways) See what is up.. Let you know tomarrow..
