Default mounting the winch Rotory switch.

today I picked up a Superwinch ATV2000 and mounting kit with roller farehead for 201$ new on sale for everything. It came with a huge rotory switch that gets mounted with 2 screws and I was wondering where everyone has been mounting them. Should I put on the same side as the throttle or on the other side. I was thinking of making a braket to mount it to the front rack. I just picked up the honda 2 days ago and I'm already putting mods on only payed 2350$ for the wheeler and its like new, the guy only used it for "lawn chores" and "running to the mail box" and had it serviced by the dealer every spring.

Default mounting the winch Rotory switch.

mount it on the left side, because if u get in mud or something u will still be able to apply throttle while winching

i suggest the left side and up high, i dont think the switch is too weather proof, my brother went through two rotary warn switches when he mounted it on his fender, the rack is probably the best place for it.
