I keep oil to the full line so there shouldn't be any crank bearing trouble. Sounds like an error by your bro.

Good too hear Honda is taking care of it. The question remains, what caused the problem?

Are you serious? Checking oil at every stop? I can certainly understand checking the oil every ride.....but every stop is ridiculous.

A friend of mine just lost his crank last week. 2 days before the warranty ran out. Honda has already replaced the frame once, and they are paying for parts on this, but not labor. Now it is good that they are picking up the parts, but I feel that it should be the whole thing for him. The dealer already discovered it was a defect in the engine, so Honda should be forking it all up.
