no..your rancher is jsut fine...the average top speed is right around 50...my dads does 47 on a fire tower road...so maybe a couple mph's higher if it was smoother

 

ha dude i had my sportsman 400 goin 63 and alls its got is a K&N so lets take it easy with the throwdowns... if u dont got the quad you shouldnt talk. not to start anything but i hate when people say ish like that

you know what rezboy u shouldnt talk so much hondas are slow and everyone knows it there only known for reliability and all the other manifactures have caught up to that. my polaris does go 63 mph and if u havent ridden it then u need not talk. i supposed my truck isnt blue either lol

Well, the valve job didn't work. It's not the speed I worry about so much as the fact that is just seems like it's not running like it should. I guess I'm going to have to take it in, I had hoped there was something I could check without paying $60/hour.

 

Bet you if they replace the O-rings on the oil pump it will run better. The small pressure loss can have a drastic effect on your power.

 

Not sure what the problem could be, hopefully you get it figured out.
