I have read that the Rekluse works without the clutch lever, but if you want to use the lever to slip the clutch, you can. I would just a soon not have a lever at all.
Great mod for tight trails, if you ride a bike that doesn't like to lug down.

Give him a break he is canadian... whadya expect LOL J/K..... From what I understand they are automatic clutches so that you dont have to pull in the clutch, just let off the gas shift and back on it, but it is still there incase you choose to use it.... sounds like a great training tool for the wives or g/f that you are trying to get into the sport. install one on a sport quad and boom they no longer have to worry about using a clutch as well as learn to ride the thing all together.

I put the word problem in quotes because so many non honda riders talk about how easy the 450R stalls when lugging down and that it needs to be kick started, not a problem for me, I don't race. The auto clutch prevents the engine from stalling so no kicking needed to start it.
