i believe its just clean up porting.

ESR seems to be more reputable to the public market than CT.

His sabertooth is running good. Was at 91hp last time we talked but his chassis setup is killing him. A 90 horse honda should be a 4.1-4.2 bike but right now he is stuck in the 4.3's. Neal sold his motor and a guy in arizona is now running it.

youre way off on the horsepower numbers.
310 is a 35 horse motor. The 330 is a 40-45 horse motor. The 350 is a 50 horse motor, and the 370 is a 55-60 horse motor. These are gas numbers.
That must be a very conservative dyno. ESR 310's on gas are running 4.7's-4.8's in 300' sand around here using stock frames. Not trying to start anything Beech but it's hard to imagine 35 hp motors running those times.

same dyno reeds 40 horse for a cam'ed and piped yfz. The numbers are accurate.

LOL yup. them gas 310's are animals in the 300...Like to see the many 310's in the 4.7 range. That makes the alk xulw drag 370's in the 4.1 range? please...

Yes a few may run a 4.8 but ive yet to see any straight from esr do that. Jay @ esr ran a 4.5 on his alk 370 which is one of the best running 370s from eddie that ive seen and its on alk. Now, a gas esr 310 isnt going to be that close to him. Maybe you guys have one of them "fast" tracks...who knows.

Well we all know that once you hit about the 5.00 mark every couple of hundredths takes work to get. We go to one track in MS that is a full tenth quicker than any of our tracks around locally. I've been told the old Texas drags were a bit downhill while the dragstrip at Lil Sahara,OK is going a good bit uphill. Most people run a .1 slower there. Dont forget to take in to account density altitude (temp, humidity, dewpoint, etc.) which is definitely different from state to state, not to mention also bike and rider weight, gearing, tires, and the list goes on. Unless all racers could go to one place and race the same track under the same conditions, then there will always be arguement on what can run what numbers. Hope that covered it all. Jay, Beech has to be close on his numbers. Dana's 330 made 53RWHP (that I ported) while our neighbor's 370 ported by ESR made only 55. They run the same compression, pipe, carb, reeds, and ignition.

Yeah, whatever. When I can take one with lots of bottom end grunt still and run with the others (as it has been proved on the sand) then I dont say they suck.

Y Buy 330 kit...... I have never seen a 330 kit run any better than the ESR 310....
I would rather have the 350 kit..... More bores....on the cylinder..

The track we run at is very fast...(not like little sahara's track)...But still hard to beleive those Dyno numbers...
But, i also have never had any of my bikes on one...

the 370 i just put together (esr parts)... i would beleive to be around 4.5-4.6 sec. on gas..
my buddy's 310 ESR on gas runs 4.7-4.8 all day...

DABEECHMAN.. given the bike is on a 3 wheeler chassis what would you think it should run on alcohol.....
do they better...... per 4.5-4.6
that 370 motor seems very long winded........lots of topend..

What about CT, LRD, etc. Is there much of a difference? Or just porting. See ebay auction below.
