TRX300EX

Does anyone here have a TRX300EX?
If so, I need some information.
I am wanting a 300EX for some trail riding (I heard it was great on trails...Is this true?)
I know they are not very fast, but they should be good on trails with their small size.
Are they good for wheelies and jumping, and basically goofing around on?
Is there a way I could get it up to 70MPH...if so, how?

I just bought a 300ex about a week ago and only have rode it a couple times, i am a fairly experienced rider, owned a heavily modded trailblazer, blaster, dirt bikes and snowmobiles so im pretty comfortable on it. and in my opinion I love it. If your crazy enough, i personally think you wont have any trouble keeping up with people on the trails.

Hey man 300ex's are great on trails (one of the best) and there great for wheelies and jumping and with some $$ you can get them close to 70mph.In an issue of atv action a few months back they had a fst330ex in there beating 400ex's and running side by side with z400's.

300ex's are amazing machines. incredibly fun to ride and even with the mods my blaster has the 300 will out jump, and definintly out wheelie it. on trails they're pretty even but the blaster takes more body english. the 300ex has better suspension also, i dont think it has as much shock travel but it feels much better when riding and jumping. getting the lil 300ex up to 70mph is goin to be tough but even more than that its completely unecessary. if yr lookin for quad that goes that fast yr wastin yr time, uness u have the money to do it. the 300ex is a great trail machine and perfect for wheeling and messin around but its no speedster.

I have a bone stock 300ex, and my friend has a blaster with 20"razrs and boyeson reeds, and k&n filter/skins. the 300 is dead even with it all the way till about 3/4 of 4th gear and you start to notice your pulling away, once you hit 5th it blows by it. And though 5th gear on a stock 300 is very flat and boggy feelin, with a lil add ons like a Big Gun exhaust and k&n filter/skins and some different tires a 300ex i think would be alot faster and likeable. But man i love ridin it, its gotta lot of low end power, and goes great on backyard tracks if you kno what i mean.

I have a 2002 300EX. Great for trail riding. Just the right power, size, and ride for the trail, and reverse. Dirt Wheels and ATV Action mags run shoot-outs of 250-350cc sport quads and the 300EX wins all the time, even against the new Raptor 350.
I think these top out at 55. Getting it to 70 might ruin what makes it good for trails. What trail are you doing 70 on? I don't think I'd want to do 70 on my 300
