there is no way that a cbr1000rr can reach 205mph the fastest bikes (of this kind) are the hyabusa1300 used to have a top speed of 210 but in 00 was lowerd to 190(top gear rev limiter) plus there are higly modded bikes on the salt flats no reaching those speeds. i say he was doing 150mph tops.

 

all of the newer mustangs have a speed limiter of 155mph

 

The bike is an RC51 and it hit 160 on the dyno at Hittman Motorsports in White Bear Lake. The bike was completely stock except slip on mufflers. The ticket should be thrown out in court.

 

Dont pay any attention to his claims, just smile and nod.

Alittle off the subject... but I was driving down the interstate yesterday and this dude on a suzuki crotch rocket passes me. He gets ahead of me and looks back to see if there were any cops. after seeing it was clear he gets his feet on the back pegs and pops a wheelie and rode it for a couple hundred yards at around 70 or so. It is unbelievable to me that some do that on the interstate at those speeds, but it sure does look cool!

 

I know that strectch of road VERY well...and yes if you have the equipment for it...it can be done. I have done 119 (stupid govener) on that road many times...when I knew cops werent around...well now that I know about the planes...I have to rethink what I do on that road. I was reading a story about the ticket and i think I remember reading "the stop watch doesnt lie" is what the cop said...so can we apply that to our quads??? if so I can do a quarter in...umm...as fast as I can click the button twice [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

.08 seconds....so that would translate into...11250 miles an hour....or .32 seconds a mile...man I have the fastest ute around!!
