HRC4EVER is right on. Recently replaced a stock carb on 87 250R with 38 AirStriker(keihn) & it's like a different bike. Lots more bottom end & smoother power delivery right thru to the top end. This bike is bored .100 over, Fatty pipe, head shaved .040, Boysen reeds, and K&N filter(air box lid removed).
