330 price
#2
For a 330 kit alone you would probably be spending about $1700-$1800 for just the labor and parts. However, usually some tranny work is needed and those parts are pricey so figure at least $2000 for a complete engine. If I were you I would call CT and just buy a complete engine already built, they do sell them and they will probably take your engine in trade.

Go to CT's website and get an idea of what's involved. The cases will have to be machined to accept the larger sleeve, which means the bottom end has to be dis-assy'd, and problems can be found.

It's an 02B part number, for the CR, it fits fine, but my port guy and I noticed that the flow pattern was off on the piston crown wash, we re-checked all the port windows (angles, measurements, etc.)they were right on. We then started thinking, and I came up with the idea that the angled inlet may be causing the biased flow. So he went into the cage and made the radius larger towards the outside of the angle(longer more time time to flow in relation to the shorter radius of the inside). He also put a 80X finish (roughed it up) to help with atomization. It did the trick, the wash pattern on the crown is now even.
