I added a 55 watt spot light to my rancher with no problems.Mounted it on the plastic behind the speedo makes it a lot easier to see when the light is pointing the same as your where your steering.

Login password....look up top for the button "profile" it takes you to your profile (imagine that!) and you will see "Password:******" and "Verification:*****" change it in both of those spots and hit submit.

I know 3 people with 2 aux lights (55w) on the handlebars of they're 350's, neither of them have had any problems.

I HAVE 2 55 WATTS ON THE FRONT OF MY RECON, BUT WHEN RUNNING THEM WITH MY FACTORY LIGHTS TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME MY BATTERY DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER THE NEXT TIME I GO TO RIDE. THE RANCHER PROBABLY HAS A BIGGER BATTERY AND STATOR, SO YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH IT. A SAFER CHOICE WOULD BE A PAIR OF MOOSE UTILITY LIGHTS WITH A LOWER POWER RATING. YOU WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE STATOR BURNING UP, THE WORSE THING THAT CAN HAPPEN IS A DEAD BATTERY.

i found the specks for the alternator, its .245 kw at 5000rpm

which is 245 watts i believe, the head lights are 30 watts each so 60 watts there, and tail light is 5 watts, no idea on igntion

so thats 65 normal watts with the lights on prolly a bit more, well say 70, add 110 for my 2 lights, is 180 which is below the maxinum, but that wattage is at 5000 rpm, which is screaming, my machine prolly could not charge the battery, cus i don't run anywhere near 5000 rpm, thats a bit disappointing
