Hey guys, i just got a 450r about 2 weeks ago. i am not sure if my jetting is off, but it has trouble idling and has trouble starting, i know its not me just trying to start it because the first couple days i got it first kick every time. now it has trouble idling, starting, and sometimes riding it will stall on me. could this be my jetting? thanks

Bring it to the dealer if not far away. It should have warranty.

 

There is a small plastic **** on the left (clutch) side of the engine. It's in plain view. Use it to turn your idle up a little.

 

I agree turning up the idle will help...it is a new engine that is still tight... it will need time to loosen up. I broke mine in on a small mx track and almost killed myself in between a small set of doubles...I was singleing them and the quad whould snub for a split second, causing me to lurch forward hitting the gas, then it would bumpstart, sending me off the second one at about half throttle!! Never had a prob after it was broke in doing the same thing.
