I was at a local dealer and i saw a 2005 400 ex and i noticed that it had reverse and i figured that may be information that some have been wondering about.The 2005 plastic looks very much like the 450r especially the headlights and the contours of the plastic itself.Just thought i would share what i saw even though i am not going to be purchasing one myself this is verification of some of the rumors about the 2005.

 

Yup. Sorta old news tho. Mistake they made was making it the same price as the z400.

 

Actually I believe the msrp of the 400ex was 5699 for at least the first few years if not always.

 

i still bough an 04 anyways...same thing only no reverse and cheaper

 

you can get 04 400ex's for like $4500 brand new,thats the leftovers.
