400 EX rear bearing problem.

I just did mine, they are a pain. I welded a piece of steel to the smaller race of one bearing. You can then knock it out, squarely. When the first one is out, remove the inner pipe/spacer. That will expose the other bearing to knock it out.

here is a tip:
place the whole carrier in an oven at 200-225 degrees. remove teh carrier and the bearings may just fall right out. if not, they shoudl come out after tapping on it with a piece of wood or something. if that still doesn't work, place them back in the oven for longer.
