Who cares...

For all the people that say crap about other brands in this forum, I have not yet been denied to ride with someone because of my choice of ATV. And I have yet to decline anyone just because of his choice. In the "real world", I believe there is very little bashing. At least where I ride there is very lttle that I know of. I have said it many times before, and I will say it again, who cares, lets just go ride.

I also agree about the bashing. It is inevitable that every so often a post will start a war...but thats life!
As for long lists of mods in the signatures, I am all for it. From the get-go I knew who to direct my questions about aftermarket mods to. There are things on some lists that I would not have even thought about, but luckily I saw them...now I have them.

I'm with ya.
Bashing: Why bother? What's the point, doesn't prove anything, just gets everybody all disgruntled in a big waste of words.
As for the lists of mods: You know, the funny thing about that little white speck on the top of chicken sh_t, well, it's still chicken sh_t. Now, don't get me wrong, I hate chicken poop as much as the next guy, but I think the list of mods is a good idea to have. Not only does it allow us to see what others have done to their machines to remove the old boring mundane stock effect, replaced by some sort of tool or aftermarket piece/s that add to the character or increase performance of each individuals machine. But, it also allows us to see what was done, which could then be used on our own machines, and give us an idea of who to contact about any possible questions. Case in point-tire size for instance. OH and the other thing about the lists of mods, well that's the other great thing about them. Should you not be the slightest bit interested, well, that's what that nifty little down arrow is for in the bottom right corner of the screen. Hit that, and presto, their gone and you're on to the next post. Simple as that.
Just my two bits.

No joke there Hot_shoe_cv! I get so sick of that long crap its pathetic. Listing a prefilter as a modification is stupid. You are right about the age too. That is basically confirmed in some circumstances. How about those with 3 sets of tires listed. Foolish.
An example of a bad signature:
500 AC, oxlites, kimpex front bumper, kimpex rear bumper, front rack extension, titan 495's, 27" bi- claws, 27" tri claws, fabricated auxilary light mounts with no lights attached, wiring for the lights that are not there, rear backup light with switch, missing pop rivet on rear fender, warn 2000lb, winch with factory mounting plate, warn sticker on front of plate.
That is absolutely stupid. This is the first time I've ever listed crap like that. In fact, I think I pissed myself off typing it. All I need now is about 6 website links to top it all off.

I can see the sense in listing major modifications or additions like mud tires, supertrapps, and big bore kits, but when it gets to the point of tie down straps and grip heaters, its a little on the ignorant side. There is this dude about 13 miles from here that used to chrome out lawnmowers and have them sitting in front of his shop. Talk about your all time stupid things to do. These things would have gold and chrome trim on the fenders.

All of my quads are bone stock...Man I feel insignificant! I have filter envy, pipe envy(hmmm), tire envy...I need a shrink. Maybe if I had one quad with a bunch of mods instead of three quads with no mods, i'd feel better. What do you guys think? Or I could just lye. Hey my wife is all stock too and she still runs great! Not sure what brand she is because someone took all the stickers off before I got her. Is this more than u need to know? Probably... I'm just sitting here laughing at myself. Anyone care to list their girl's mods?

Chrome out lawnmowers!??? Man, did he put those really neat low rider kits, with gold wheels on it and curb feelers? Yeah, with them really cool dingle bob things hanging off the front? Come to think of it, you guys probably don't have any of these ugly _ss vehicles running around your neck of the woods. Man, you'd be surprised to see what some of the people do to their cars out here!
TpnTx:
Yeah, I'd have to say that's getting a little too personal there! Heh Heh Heh, glad to hear your wife is going great "stock". I saw a gal up on campus the other day with hot pink hair, probably close to 30 ear rings on each side, with a chain running to her nose, then somewhere down yonder. A few tatoos on her arms and one of something else on her leg. Not sure if these could be considered "mods" or not, but man was she scary looking! I definately prefer mine "stock", don't know what you all think.
Anyhow, changed the sig., so I hope this is a little more appealing.
Take care, and hope everybody has a great weekend riding!
Mike
