Honda Pilot (ATV)
#11
In 1989 and 1990, the Pilot's average selling price in dealer's showrooms was $5,900. They were definitely ahead of their time and definitely priced much higher than ATV's at the time. You can still find stock machines in good condition for an average price of $6,000-$7,500. A modified Pilot just sold on eBay for $13,700! If you don't believe it, here's the link:

They are awesome to ride (trails, sand or anywhere) and are very safe. Here's a video of an FL350 (the Pilot's 1985 predecessor) rolling end over end:
FL350 Rollover Video
With electric start, reverse, dual-beam headlights, a full roll cage, automatic CVT transmission, a 5-point harness and speeds in excess of 60+MPH, it doesn't get much easier, safer or funner!!! (of course, that comment is highly biased! )

Finally, here's a pic of my Pilot before adding the dual-air intake modification, the Digatron DT-53K data acquisition computer, the PowerPros chrome rev exhaust pipe with the long silencer, the Keihin PWK 39mm racing carburetor, the PowerBloc racing clutch, etc., etc., etc.,..........(did I mention they're fun to modify too? If you ever get the chance to own one, don't hesitate and DO IT!!!
