I have the megamaxII slip-on and now planning on getting a header for my quad. I was looking at either the Powerbomb or the High-flo. Does any of you have them? How do they perform? Must you remove the oil tank to install it? Your answers would be greatly appreciated!

 

Umm You do not need to remove the oil tank.. As for the PowerBomb and hi-flow header they just came out last week 4 the 400EX. I was the the 15th person in the whole wide world to get one. As for performance..It is installed.... But I distroyed my wrist 3 weeks ago and have not been able to ride.. Also installed the sparks racing ignition key and waiting for new seals from Honda... As soon as the seals are installed I will let you know... No wrist will stop me from riding.. Which one is better?? The PowerBomb by far... And you are talking to someone sponsored by FMF.... Whoo Hooo... Just got the sponsorship papers yesterday!!!!

 

Hey Skunky you never answered another poster’s question of weather or not the powerbomb would work with a WB e-series silencer. I too have the slip on e-series silencer and I’m looking for a header. Since WB does not make a header for the 400EX (they have one for the 300EX but not the 400EX, how dumb is that!) I was looking at the powerbomb but would like to know if it will work with the e-series.

 

Ya it will work... The same diameter as the stock header pipe ..Wait for my per formance report on tuesday or wednesday next week...
