I just put a twist throttle on my 88 250R and the carburator has a very light return spring. This causes the twist throttle to feel to light for me, I like a little more resistance. Can anybody tell me if there is a heavier spring for the carb? Thanks.

You should turn the lock nut on the top of th carb and then turn the adjusting screw and see if that helps.

There is no such set-up on the 88 carb. If there were, it would be to adjust free play in the cable. I do think I found my own answer however. I was adjusting the needles on my Banshee for the drop in tempature we are/will be getting and when I looked at the Banshee spring, a light went off in my head. It is bigger than the Honda spring. I have one on order, if it works, I'll let you know.
