I have a 300ex with 22 in fast treckers but are only a bout 19 in. diameter I don't want to pump them up that much because then then they wear in the middle to much so I was wondering what is the tallest 22 in mud tire made. My friend bought bearclaws they were about 21. How tall are swampers.Any other good ones? Does any know of a 23 or 24 in tire around 12in wide for a 9 in wheel. Do you think a 25 in tire would be to big I jump every once in a while and I think my tires would rub really bad. Thanks for any output.

I've been thinking about getting either the Mud Sharks or Dirt Devils for my next set of rear tires... they look like they have a good tread pattern that would go well both in the mud and on the dirt. Anyone have any comments on these tires?

I don't think 25" tires would rub on your 300ex, but you'd definitely have to gear it different to compensate for all that extra tire height.

The 300EX is only two wheel drive, no wonder you're always getting stuck. If you want to try different gearing (as mentioned in the previous post). Drop one tooth on your counter shaft sprocket. You'll loose a little top end but will have better low end. I did this on my 400EX although I don't drive in the mud.

I would get some sur tracks or the mud machine a/t. You can look at the sur tracks at www.maxxis.com and the mud machines at www.mudtires.com.
