I am interested in getting some tires for my Rubicon. I think I am going to keep the factory size tires but want something more aggressive. I want something for trail riding (rock climbing, mud and roots). I have heard about the 589s and the mud dogs but I am new to this. If you could also tell me the best place to buy them. Thanks

 

i see alot of guys in gncc races are running Maxxis big horns, they are 6ply and have some nice treads.tires.

 

I have a set of mudbugs that ride great on the trail and in the mud... i couldn't tell you about rock climbing though.
