just got my powerbomb header, how do i get silencer off?

Its pretty self explanitory. There are 4 bolts to take off. The 2 holding the silencer on and the two on the clamp that is at the place where the silencer and headpipe meet. If it wont come off, get a flat tipped screw driver and pry the clap open to ease retraction of the silencer off the pipe. Let me know how the power is with your new pipe. hope this helps

motorhead, thank you for thew info. I will install anti-sieze on the header this time. The FMF power core 4 squared slip on does not slip off very easily for service. I had to destroy my stock headers to get it off. As for the sound: it is very quiet compared to my old FMF power core 4. It put out 102 decibals at 3,000 rpm. The power core 4 squared is 93 decibals at the same rpm. I haven't noticed ant power loss either. By the way, FMF gave me a steep discount for the system since I was replacing an existing FMF system.
