Hey Aroostook I used to live in Houlton I live in Caribou now. I have found most autos 20-25mpg. depending on how driven and all that.

Have not calculated the actual mileage yet, but my Rubicon gets somewhere between 1/2 to 2/3 the mileage the Rancher gets. I was very surprised at the gas consumption.

My Rubi sucks down the gas pretty good. It uses quite a bit more than my 450ES did. Ehh...just a small trade off for a lot more power. I'm still very satisfied with it, and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I've heard from a few idiots that they get around 40-45 miles to the gallon, but I've also heard of people who have seen both Elvis and a UFO in the same weekend. These people don't get out much, and normally live near the foothills of Tennesee. I wouldn't believe much over 25 myself.

Not even a chance they get that kind of mileage. But like someone else stated, I wouldn't trade it in for anything right now.

How large is the Ruby tank? the SP 5.5 which makes it good for 90 or better miles.

I had mine out for the first time lasst weekend. My tank was almost full before my trip. I went 30 miles and still had a little over a 1/4 tank. I haven't done the math but it seems terrible. I was told it should get better mileage after the breakin period is over. I imaging I'll get close to 65 and 70 per tank before having to switch to reserve.
