What size of rear sand stars should I get on my stock 400ex? I already know I'm getting .160 size wheels.

Again the 20x11x8 beacause of the power delivery of the 400. If you make it a 440, the tire would have to be bigger.

I'd stick with the 20" tires, not because of power delivery, but due to gearing changes, clearance issues, etc. Since the ex is a fairly light bike, you don't need a bigger tire like the DS or the V-Force. You'll be happy with the Sand Star.

I've decided to get the sandstar on .125 rim size 20-11-9.

That's what I have, but may I sufggest going down 1 tooth on the counter sprocket as I have done and found it works real well in the sand.
