I am looking for a good sealed head light that would mount to the handle bar. Something simular towhat the Foreman has, but higher so it will get over any gear you may have on the front rack.

High Lifter makes one. Go to www.highlifter.com to see a picture of it.

Check out My custom made lights below I think they are better then Hi-lifters. the one in the picture will not! work with a load on the front rack (unlike the forman I can turn mine off independently from the main lights) but if I want I attach an extension bracket which is about 4" above the panel or you could go as high as you wanted this will work over most loads the side lighting with this set up is excelent

anyone have any comments? what do you guy's think?

Hey those are pretty cool. What type of light is that? Is it an automotive light? Looks like a nice clean install.

Looks like a set of quartz driving lights? Nice job, they look real good.

I installed the High-Lifter Rancher Daylight kit. It cost $99 plus shipping and arrived in 4 days. The kit included all necessary parts. The installation went well but I have one suggestion. Put the (3) quick connectors in your tool kit for a get home solution you might need someday and solder the wire connections. The wire provided with the kit is about 12 guage and the standard Honda wire you splice into is about 18 guage. I had a problem getting it to compress enough on the small wire to make contact. If it was a problem to get to work what happens after a ride thru some tough country? Now for the rest of the story...the light is excellant!! The main beam focuses about 75% of the light on the trail and provides the rest as a wide-angle reflection. It is about twice the amout of light as the stock lights and I am very pleased with it's operation. It operates with the switches as the stock lights do, high and low beam. I could have broke the circuit with a toggle switch (on the ground) but couldn,t come up with a reason not to use it, maybe I will later. The bracket provided lifts the light enough so a ample amount of gear can be carried on the front rack and it is still operational. It was not inexpensive as a kit but I believe the Hella light and Halogen bulb is not cheap and is a premium solution. If any problems crop up I will notify the Board, all in all I am very satisfied with the product.

For those who asked yes they are standard 35 watt driving lights and the set up is pretty easy to make.

I would take a look at the Rancher Day Light kit from High Lifter as well. It's pretty nice looking. I'm considering purchasing it myself. Has anyone else installed this kit on their Rancher yet?

Someone gave it a good review of it in this post. Read some of the replies above this one.
