Default Making a monster!!

one question that has me troubled and this might be my misunderstanding, but why are buying a new cylinder for a 350? i mean, cant you just throw in a 350 sleeve and run that? or are you achieving this extra cc's by stroke?

i was under the impression all pro x's are the same and what sets them apart is the sleeve and the skirt that potrudes into the case.

Well I was too until I found out different. The 310 and 330 jugs use a bridged exhaust port, and the 350 cylinder uses a large oval port exhaust. You cant grind out the bridged port because it would have too much width and wouldn't be shaped right anyway. Of course to get a 370 or 380 you just stroke the crank. I always thought they would be the same too.

From what I understand you can change the sleeve to the regular 330, it just will extend a little farther into the cases, hence the need for machining them out.

Well, I couldnt help myself. I gave her the stuff last night (cylinder that is) She was tremendously surprised and happy as can be. Now if I could only get her to install it. Remember guys, when mama's happy everyone's happy
