will my elkas on my 400ex work on a 450r

 

Anything will fit, it just might take a little coaxing. Measure the length of both shocks. Also measure the inside/outside diameters of the bushings to make sure they will fit on the R. I havn't tried this before, but I would imagine it can be done.

 

I figure it this way, I know 450r shocks can be bolted right on to a 400ex, so I would imagine it could be reversed.

 

ok new question. i bought a yfz450 today will they work on it.

 

The hondas have a longer shock and body, so probably not.
