Default extended warranty

I have a 04 rubicon with 4 year warranty
Will it be void if I add a power kit with jet kit filter and pipe\

nope. i asked the same thing to my old stealership and they said it would only void it if you don't jet it right. which was weird to me because they won't check it or anything i guess they just go by your word. they did say that they have 'secret' ways to tell HOW an engine croaks.

so your OK i think

NO it doesnt. I also talked with my dealer and they said the only way it could void the warranty was if it could be determined that a problem was actually caused by the accessorie! Other wise, no worry. Heck, they sell and install performance kits and jetting at the dealership for an outrageous price. How can they then void your warranty for the same things that they will do to your machine for you if you have enough extra cash. Still, to be on the safe side, I kept my stock parts. If I have a problem while under warranty, I would stick my stock pipe and air filter back on before I took it in.
