tight throttle?
#1
I'm an official honda owner now-- my brother and I purchased 2004 Honda Foreman ES machines last week. Over the weekend, we rode about 70 miles. After going through one of many mudholes, my throttle became a bit tighter than it had been before. I noticed after exiting a water/mudhole. --- it was not any deeper than my brother had gone through, or the rest of the crew (about 3-4 inches below the lowest point on the seat, or 6 inches above the floorboards).
The throttle does not stick, and is still very smoothe, but much tighter (more fatigue in the thumb) than my brother's honda or any other foreman on the trip (total of 4). Any ideas how this might have happened or how to "fix" it?
Thanks
Mark

well to lossen it find the cable going into the throttle housing there a black piece of rubber pull it back theres like round type nut loosen that nut then take the cable it self while holding the nut so it does not move twist the cable till tight and start the atv and put in in gear while you doing this to make sure by loosening or tighting it that the 4 wheeler does not moves on its own with out you pushing the throttle or the sping inside the housing could have some mud in there or be bent
