Do you mean the actual keyway cut into the crankshaft or the woodrift key that fits in the keyway?

if its the wooddruf just make your own outta some aluminum.

i had this problem on a friends blaster, he went through a couple of keys, and i said there has to be a better way, well there was, it works mint the part i made, and was easy to, 3mounths later, and alot of hard riding it is holding up just fine.

if you wanted, it must fit exact, just make sure they are the same, or try and get one from a oem sorce, like ebay/.

the easiest thing to do is take your worn down key and head to Lowes or any other place that sells hardware. Just match up the lenght a close as you can since it won't matter if its off by a few thousanths. The thickness is whats really important. don't get one that is thinner than the original, odds are you will end up getting one slightly thicker since thet are not sized in metric (at lowes anyway). Put it in a vise and take a rasp/file to it until it just fits the keyway. Total cost $0.15, Time: about 10 minutes. Plus you don't have to wait for the part to come in.

I've done this to a kx250, kx125, and 2 quadracers. oldest bike has been running for 3 years with no problems.
