I thought the XR500 statement was so bizzare that I didn't respond. Any post that wack has to be a trap. Oddly enough, a guy brought out a MINT 84 [I think] XR500 with the dual carbs and he was faster than the XR600 guys. Maybe the riders but I don't know enough about the bikes to make an educated conclusion.
