Default warm up

i just a bought a honda rancher 4x4 manual shift it is starting to get cold here in mich i was wondering if i should let it warm up before taking off or just go without warming it up. i also just purchused so 25 inch mudlites size 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 on rear are they a good size or not puting them on itp rims i also purchesed a warn 424 select. caint wait to get all the new stuff thanks santa thanks brian

omg! if its brand new u better warm it up! go easy on it too to break it in, ull want the rings and piston to slowly get warm and broken in, not jus all at once.

dude I wouldnt suggest putting them new tires on it until it is fully broken in and then some cause bigger tires put more load on the motor and that could lead to valvetrain problems later on among other things.

i am sorry it was brand new in september it has about 100 miles on it. the book said break in was the first day to take it easy and flucuate your rpms thats all it said thanks

how long should you let it warm up the book says 5 min thats too long for a air cooled engine to set with no air thanks brian

nah, 5 min sounds good enough for the cold, ull want it to be hot enough so that u can barely touch the engine w/o being too hot for ur hand

Default warm up

It has a carb heater. Turn the key on for a couple of minutes before you start it. My Ranchers are REALLY cold blooded. I have to warm them up even in warm weather, or they run terrible.
