Looking at maybe buying a used one but was wondering if this model has electric start and reverse.

it has electric start

and hand reverse

 

no the oo 400ex dont havee reverse but def have electric start

I'm going to go out on a limb here and make a wild assumption.

I don't think that the 2000 400ex has a mechanical reverse system. Although, I'm assuming that most 2000 400ex owners pull their 2000 400ex's back manually. Unless, they can convince a friend to pull it backwards for them. I'm going to make one more assumption. Really a guess. The new 2005 400ex's (with 450r style plastic) do in fact (well a assumption) have (well really a guess) a mechanical reverse system. BUT! The 2005 400ex models can be pulled back manually. Really the best of both the mechanical and manual worlds. I hope I cleared up this confusing topic for you all. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
