is the 450R as good as everyone says it is because i either want to get it or a Yamaha Banshee but i dont know which to get can anyone help me please???

 

what kind of riding do you do?

i was thinking of getting a shee over my 400ex but i just could justify it unless i like lived out in the dunes and that's all the riding i would be doing.

 

i pretty much just want it to ride around on rodes and sometimes race but the i want to just go mess around and not hot rod all the time.

 

and it's just between those 2?

then definately the 450r....

 

do you have any other suggestions than either of them

 

I just bought the 2005 model, and I love it so far.i went and rode it stock. i was trying to get some guys on banshees to race me, but no action. The real test will be next weekend at Glamis. I rejetted it this week and installed the HRC kit....we'll see what happens

 

for just screwin around the 300ex, 400ex, or z400 are good.

i've got a 400ex and i can ride trails, dunes, screw around, stunt, whatever. very multipurpose machine.

definitely the 450r. if you just want to drag race and play in the dunes then the shee would be a good choice too. but if you want to jump and take corners go with the 450r

 

The Shee has a very sexy motor, but that frame is a dinosaur! The R does well everywhere, except slow technical trails. Ironically, the Shee is terrible at technical trails also.

The best all-around machine there is? The Z400!
