Check out www.atvpartsdepot.com, they have Warn winches and mounts. The mount runs $50.00 and the A2500 winch is $339.00!!!!!!!

Goattrotter here is a site for the best winch mount for your Rubicon. Compare for yourself if you want a eyesore on the front and rear of your machine go with txdoc has installed on his machine. Your winch should be mounted low on your machine and out of way. The pictures at this site will show how this is possible give me a ring if your interested.http://communities.msn.com/WinchmountRubicon

Hiofcer, any possibility I could get a look at your winch mount? I am installing a winch and plow on a neighbors new Rubicon next week and want to see the style mount you have. I Live right near the Yamaha test facility on 242. E-mail me if its possible. (Address is in profile) Thanks!

Goattrotter,

I have the winch mount from outdoor south. I have pics of it on my yahoo briefcase in my signature block. I've used it several times already for different reasons. It works really well. Hope this helps. $44

I just bought the mount early this week. I still don't have it yet. It should come today or tomorrow. What happened to 3 day shipping?

As soon as I have the winch installed I will post pictures.

BTW, I'm not too far from you. I'm at 35W and 95th.

I received mine the next day, but I only live 50 miles from where they are located. If you are putting on a warn 2500, you will have to trim a little on the front plastic piece where the roller fairlead goes. I mounted my solenoid in the rear tool compartment.

Thanks for the info. Is there a different place to mount the solenoid?
