What does that have to do with anything? The works at steelers are the cheapest aftermarket shocks you can get and he was weighing his opinion in on them.

From what I'm told you can bolt on the stock shocks from the 450R so that may be an even cheaper option.

i put some cannondale speed ohlins on mine, you can find them for 72 bucks a peice if you look around. they helped out a lot and were very inexpensive. they are also rebuildable. check out cannondaleriders.com, you maybe can find a good deal on a used pair.

ohlins are normally not cheap shocks they are up in price with the elkas, pep, tcs, etc. check in the golden west cycle book i think, they run pretty high and are really decent shocks

works would definetly be the cheapest i've seen, but they would make an improvement though, i have a works gas charged shock on my 250R and it surprised me for how and where i run my quad, still no match for the PEP's i got up front though, but i will give credit to works, for the price they are a little hard to beat unless you got bookoo bucks to be spending on other ones, later down the road after you save some money up then you can think about getting higher quality ones.
