Kit to replace Electric shift with a foot shifter?
#11
My first Honda was a 110 3-wheeler, man that thing got worked and ALWAYS worked...next was a 250 Big Red...another winner...now we have the 350 ES.....the electronic shift has been fine, yet I would like to have that foot shifter there all the time. Just a personal preference. My dad and wife like the push buttons too, I like the foot shifter. Why can't we have the best of both worlds.

The dealer said the es models are not designed to handle the stress of a foot shifter. Thats what the dealer said. THey look the same to me. If i can figure out what to do with the computer the rest is easy. All you will have to do is take the shifter stub and grind the corners so it is round. Then clamp your foot shifter on.
I'm like the other guy I find mysellf stomping the floor board and lifting my toe alot even though there is no shifter there. I grab the rear brake thinking its the clutch for the first few minutes too. I rode a 250x for years.
