TRX90 Brakes
Since the seals are only good for keeping water and mud IN the brakes, I've been running ours with the drain plug removed. Also drilled a 1/4" hole up high on the inside and carry a spray can of brake parts cleaner with us when we go on a muddy trail ride. When the brakes start to die after a bunch of mudholes, I can do a quick cleaning by directing the spray from the cleaner directly to the top of the shoes. Not a perfect solution but beats having to tear them apart while on the trail. The TRX90 brakes are fine in dry conditions.
I've brought up the subject of disc brakes before and haven't gotten much reponse. I consider the brakes the weakest link of the mini's - much worse of a problem than the lack of suspension that the mags always gripe about.
