I just sold my recon folks, that was my first ever quad and i practiclly grew up on that, its gone someone just bought it, my z250 is gone to[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] but were gonna get a z400 400ex 700vforce or something fast and sportier, all i have nowis my eiger

advice, i think that the honda recon is probably the best beginners and cruising quad out there!

How much did you get for both of them?

 

Well im getting a z400 whenever the dealer gets some more in(maybe 2 weeks?) and im very excited, we rode it at the dealer and thats all were ever need!

i tell ya, they had a used raptor there but i couldnt keep the front end down and i was more scared than i was having fun! but i rode the z and we new that was the one


we sold the z250 for 2600$ and the recon for 1400$

 

dont ride a yfz or 450r if u think a raptors fast

 

Ive ridden a 450r and it wasnt so much power where i couldnt keep the front end down, it was fun to ride, but the reason i dont like the raptor is because i CANNOT kepp the thing under control, my dad could but that things stronger than i am!

LoL very true, my dad was driving it and in evry gear he could pop a weelie and i rode it in 1st gear and did a weelie and said naaa but really i was scared

the front end coming up is not a good way to measure power. the raptor has a poor chassis design. the 450r will beat it in a drag race

the 400 would come up whenever i wanted it to but not when i wasnt expecting it
