LOl all i care about is that the 400ex filter fits in the 300ex air box. And i have holes drilled in my air box lid. Its still not enough. Oh well once i have a bigger carb im sure itll be fine.

 

Are you running a stock carb now?? Just curious, I run a 400 carb on my 300 & it's a HUGE difference [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] YOu will definetly like it, I'm just running a K&N w/ no lid on mine & it seems to breath well. good luck [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Ya know something just hit me, when I was making outerwears for our air filters on the 300 & 400 the 400 one IS longer so I don't know if it WILL fit in the 300 airbox, I'll measure them later when it gets light out for ya if ya want [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
