Default How will a 05 Wolverine handle 25' Mudlite deep lug tires?

I just bought a 2005 Wolverine and was wondering if 25' Mudlites would be to big? I am worried that it will bog the engine down too much in the mud. Please advise if you have heard or know anything about this. Thanks.

Depends on the mud. Thick Sticky Stuff? no. Wet, sloppy stuff, yes. If you opt for an aftermarket air filter, this will help. Next would be an exhuast and a re-jet and then you're in decent shape.

Personally, I wouldn't put 26's on a Wolverine. Just because you see one at a dealership with them on it doesn't mean that it can handle them. In all likelyhood, that machine has yet to climb a hill under it's own power... more like just eye candy for the customers. IF it was a used machine, then I'd say that it had some mods, either that or that's why it got traded in. The customer may not have liked the performance loss due to changing to 26's.

If seeing is truely believing, then I'd like to see that Wolverine with 26's take on some serious mud.

The Mudlites run small. The 25" mudlites are almost the same size as your stock tires with 5lbs of air in them. I have mounted several Wolverine's up with this combo and had no complants.

25" mudlites will be fine. They are lighter then your stock tires on it. So it would actualy spin better.
