Default Honda Rubicon

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the 2005 Honda Rubicons. I haven't seen many of them around and I am Very interested in purchasing one for myself. Also, any thoughts on the GPS package that they offer with the Rubicon. Is it very useful?

I don't own a 05 Rubicon but I have been doing a lot of research on them the past week or so(thinking of getting one).

Many of the reviews I've seen on them from 04 say that the quad would be a 10 if it had 2/4wd select. Well now they have that.

The guys over at atvtv gave it 3 awards for best of 04 Text Here.

It seems like a very good utility machine with it's great tranny and new suspension. If you hunt, the tranny engages at such a low RPM that you can creep around at a whisper.

I've read that the GPS is a very nice feature if you tend to ride in uncharted areas, exploring and what not. You can save like 100 way points in the GPS to remind you how to get back to the places that you've been(great for hunting).

The Rubicon is a bit more expensive than other machines in it's class, but I think it's worth it for the best tranny in the business and the solid Honda reliability. It may not be the fastest, but it will get you to where you want to go and get you back home without a worry(from what I've read).

I'll probably be buying one within a few months unless I can get a killer deal on an 05 Foreman 500.

I love mine and you will love yours it's a PERFECT 10 (just wont ride a wheelie) I've only put about 50 miles on mine no mud yet!!!! and it's just unbelievable. Just put on 26 mud lites talk about a mean look I LOVE IT. The GPS comes in handy 100 memory points with arrow that points you in right direction. You cant go wrong and don't pay more then $6650 The dealers will come down to that it might take some work but it can be done.
